The high technology business is rapidly changing. Often, equipment becomes quickly obsolete as faster PCs, improved software, and generally better products seem to be continually introduced. In addition, many jurisdictions have need for improved systems, but lack capital funding for purchases. And, what does a jurisdiction do with computer systems that are slow or outdated within a few years? The Police Central Technology Contract is the answer! It works as follows:1. The Agency selects the computers, software, Digital Cameras, printers, network or other devices required for their purposes. 2. Police Central, Inc. will fund the total purchase price and pay the vendor within 10 days of the completed installation. 3. The Agency will pay a fixed monthly payment for a total of 24 or 36 months. There is no security deposit or other special deposits. 4. All jurisdictions are automatically approved for this program. At the conclusion of the contract period, the following options are available: A. If the equipment is satisfactory, the Agency will simply KEEP the equipment with no additional monthly charges. B. If the Agency wishes to have new equipment installed, ANY or ALL of the equipment can be REPLACED OR UPGRADED, including software, cameras, PCs, networks or any other installed equipment.
