![]() Police Centrals Warrant Tracking can be used as an addition to the complete Police Central Booking and Jail Management system or as a standalone package. With Warrant Tracking, the agency records all warrants directly into the Warrant Database on a Windows workstation. The first time a warrant for an individual is received, complete personal information is added to the database. Subsequent warrants are simply added to the suspects personal record, eliminating re-entry of information. A photo of the individual can also be stored in the database. At the Warrant Screen, the officer enters the detailed information for each warrant, including the warrant number, originating court, warrant type, etc. The Warrant Screen also contains fields for the name and badge number of the assigned officer, bonding agent and prosecutor. Each activity associated with the warrant is recorded on the Warrant Screen for instant recall later. NCIC data can be imported into the system as needed. Once warrants are in the system, they can be searched in seconds. A special red light/green light feature of Warrant Tracking alerts the user immediately if there are outstanding warrants on and individual. For example, if an officer makes a traffic stop and wishes to check for outstanding warrants on that individual, the dispatcher can perform a search on the individuals name or drivers license number in seconds. A green button on the individuals record turns red if there are outstanding warrants for that person. The photo attached to the record can be invaluable to the arresting officer in identifying the suspect when serving the warrant. The printout of the warrant will also show any comments such as if the person is armed, known associates, etc. Like all Police Central products, the Warrant Tracking Module features complete reporting for managing the agencys warrant data. Warrant Tracking is the perfect complement to the Police Central Booking Module, and can interchange data with all Police Central modules. |
